Vital Experience

Interns are a vital part of Borough Writing Workshops. Through direct interaction and supervision with the directors, teachers, and managers, interns gain hands-on knowledge and experience with a nonprofit business that deals with the art community. Whether interns are looking to learn about the business side, the creative side, or the teaching side, the Workshops offers valuable on-site experience. Aside from learning about how to direct and operate such a category business (NFP) as Borough Writing Workshops, interns are also able to enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that they have helped people in need. College credit is rewarded, and depending on availability, a stipend is given.
