The Annual BWW Internet Donation Drive
Borough Writing Workshops is starting its annual internet fundraising drive. We at Borough Writing Workshops wish to ask you to help us raise money so that we may help the community and help those who find themselves as patients at long-term care facilities, hospitals, retirement homes, et al. experience respite through creative writing workshops. We offer our classes free to the patients–our students–and we need your assistance in order to continue to offer our free textbooks, dictionaries, and writing materials.

Borough Writing Workshops: Open for Business!
It has been two long years—two years of hashing out ideas, researching the best pedagogies and teaching methods, and building, building, and more building—and Borough Writing Workshops is ready to offer its services.
More than anything we at Borough Writing Workshops wish to stress the dedication we have to helping our community and helping those at hospitals, schools, retirement homes, and the like find their respite through creative writing. We are “Teaching to Write Yourself”.
We will always be open to donations, but right now at the outset your donations will help us immensely, and you have the opportunity to be part of this venture from the beginning. Please consider a donation of any amount so that we may reach as many patients in New York as possible. Your donations will help us give free creative writing classes, as well as free text books, dictionaries, and writing materials to our students.
In the future we will be holding fundraisers in New York City to further our program. Check back to the News page to keep up with our fundraising schedule and to follow us as we develop.
